63142 Mining accident on 18th August at Auckland Park colliery. He was running beside another driver's full set with his hand on the first tub. He slipped and fell, a tub passed over his leg between the foot and the knee. The accident was not considered to be serious in any way but tetanus set in and he died 2nd Sep.
