      Memorial:- Uriah Jennison was born in April 1913 in Bishop Auckland, Durham, as the son of William and Sarah Elizabeth Jennison.

      During the Second World War Uriah Jennison served with the 5th Battalion of the Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment) as a Lance Serjeant. On the 30th of December 1944 he was killed in action. He was laid to rest at the Brunssum War Cemetery.

      He was survived by his parents and his wife Millicent Jennison.
