VARLEY June 30, in hospital, late of Raby Road, Ferryhill. Alace, aged 103 years, dearly loved wife of the late Frederick, also a much loved gran of Ann, Dennis, Doug and Pat and a dear aunt of Winnie, Lottie, Bob and Olive. Cortege leaving residence of her grandson Doug, Lumley Crescent, Ferryhill at 10.35 a.m. on Friday, July 7 for service in St. Luke's Church at 10.45 a.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.

Alace married Frederick Percy VARLEY on 24 May 1946. Frederick (son of John William VARLEY and Mary Ellen STEPHENSON) was born on 12 Jun 1892 in Newcastle upon Tyne Northumberland; died on 16 Dec 1958. [Group Sheet]
